5 Things We Are Grateful for this Thanksgiving
- As business owners, we're always saying how thankful we are for our customers.
But what are we thankful for...specifically?
At Rent A Knee Walker, we get to meet many people over the phone, by email, and at our storefront in Orlando, FL. It's been a pleasure to chat with many people from all walks of life. So many are committed to their health but also have a positive mental attitude.
These are 5 qualities that stand out to us:
We admire our customers' commitment to making changes in their lives, no matter how difficult.
We respect that many people constantly make important decisions about their health care, finances, and other aspects of life that have or will have a positive effect on their day-to-day happiness.
Our customers' positive attitudes and willingness to get out of their comfort zones.
It baffles us that health professionals are still widely recommending crutches. Yes, it gets the job done, but there's something much better, like a knee scooter. It can be a daunting thought to carry a knee scooter with you everywhere. But quickly, customers realize how life-changing it is for their day-to-day while recovering from foot injuries.
Our customers' perseverance in the face of challenges and setbacks.
We are grateful to many customers who are enthusiastic about their recovery and ready to take on the challenges of learning to live with their foot injury. That's no easy feat: getting injured changes your plans. It's easy to make excuses and stay at home, but the show must go on, and a knee scooter can be a great ally to continue doing most if not all, the things they used to do before the injury.
Our customers' willingness to ask for help when they need it.
Some might think it's unpleasant to ask for help with matters concerning their foot injury, but without that willingness to ask for help when it's needed, I don't think we'd be able to provide the top-notch service that we do.
Our customers' grace when mistakes happen.
We have processes and systems in place—we're a very efficient bunch. But mistakes happen. It's part of being human. We've all seen horrible videos of folks having a meltdown at customer service folks.
Thankfully we've never had to experience that ourselves. However, when mistakes happen, we appreciate the grace demonstrated by our customers, and of course, we fix the issue promptly and swiftly.
Closing thoughts
Though every day is a day to be grateful, Thanksgiving serves as a mandatory checkpoint. It helps us appreciate the small things in life and gives us hope for a better future.
There's a lot to be grateful for this holiday season, and sharing those feelings with people you care about never hurts. So please be sure to thank your friends, family members, colleagues, and everyone else that helped make your life great.
