Pimp My Knee Walker 2
- Six years ago we brought your our original post "Pimp My Knee Walker"on how some of our customers decked out their knee scooters. Personalizing your knee walker can be a great way to keep in good spirits during your recovery from a foot or ankle injury. If you are going to be relying on something for transport everyday, you might as well enjoy it!
Mental health during recovery is just as important as your physical health, which is why we made a vow to collect photos from our happy customers - and show you how they personalized their knee scooters!
There are many other occasions that may call for a knee scooter decorating-intervention, and we have been so surprised at the creativity from our customers. From getting married to everyday use, our knee walker customers have been able to make their knee scooters better for them with some awesome decorations! Our local customer Nicole from Altamonte Springs, Nicole, went with a "flower-power" look while participating in a "Walk for Life Without Lupus". The beautiful purple flowers were a nice touch to her Swivelmate Knee Walker , which she said helped her maintain her independence throughout her ankle injury.
Thank you Nicole for supporting a great cause, we are glad you were still able to participate with your knee walker!Keith from Jacksonville had to get married while healing from a ruptured achilles. With some flowers, a "Just Married" banner, and a lot of love, both he and his new wife were able to tie-the-knot at their destination wedding in Puerto Rico.
Besides dressing up their Swivelmate Knee Walker for the occasion, he said it was great for making his hands available to use, and made getting around more enjoyable.
Congrats Keith! The Swivelmate almost looks as good as your bride!Kim from Rhode Island took the opportunity to spruce up her Swivelmate for a Halloween Hoedown Party at her local country club. This is perhaps one of the more impressive knee scooter ensembles we have seen, she turned her Swivelmate into a horse!
What really completes this look is her matching attire, Kim is one with her knee scooter and that of course makes us happy. She says she would highly recommend the Swivelmate as it allowed for more independence in her daily activities.
Thank you for the submission cowgirl! Here we have a before and after of Markeyas
Orthomate. With help from the Dollar Treeand inspiration for a Halloween Party, she was able to give her knee scooter a head-to-toe makeover to get in the spirit of Halloween!
My favorite part of this look is either the tool-skirt on the knee pad rest, the devil horns, or the fact that she labeled her knee scooter loud and proud with the
"Orthomate" sticker.
Good job Markeya! We hope you
had a great time at the party!
Anissa looked absolutely incredible while using her Swivelmate to get married.
She even named it "The Bride's Ride" while pimping it out with gorgeous matching flowers to walk down the aisle. She said the wedding date could not be changed, and her Swivelmate helped save the day.
We are SO happy to hear about her experience, and the flowers look wonderful!
We have many more submissions that we will be sharing in the future, but these were some of our favorites over the past year. All of our customers rented their knee scooters online from our website, and were able to personalize them to their liking for their recovery.
Hopefully these photos will inspire you for your own designs, and if you rented with us then submit your picture to our photo contest for a chance to be featured and a chance to win $250!
