It's been a year since the start of the Rent A Knee Walker Scholarship program, and we've had hundreds of applications.
They are all incredibly deserving individuals with stories of bravery and overcoming adversity. After reading the hundreds of applications, we were blown away by the people you are, the amazing summits of life you have scaled, and the obstacles that you have overcome.
It's truly an honor to read everyone's stories.
The question we asked applicants was:
What is the best piece of advice you've ever been given?
Feel free to share how it shaped your life your decisions, or the current path you're on.
For this cycle of 2021, we have narrowed down all the stories we received to a list of four winners. There are a lot of inspiring stories which made it hard to pick the final winners, but here they are:

“How long are you going to wait before you demand the best of yourself and in no instance bypass the discriminations of reason?”
-Yonadab De La Cruz

“Don’t use lack of ability as an excuse for lack of effort .”
