When Life Knocks You Down -- A Knee Scooter Can Help (A Case Study)

- This is a story of how one of our customers was injured and was able to get back on his feet, literally. Without our knee scooter, he wouldn't have been able to work and help deliver amazing bagels during this pandemic. Now that's some serious stuff right there.
Here's John's story:
I was furloughed my corporate job in New York City in April and started this job shortly thereafter. The bagel shop was one of the only places open so it was customary to have at least 20-30 cars parked waiting to place an order.And then the pain came...
I was regularly running around a parking lot, sometimes logging more than 20,000 steps and walking/running several miles. About two months into the job, I felt some tendons in my ankle start to hurt but could still walk after taking Advil.
On the fourth day of work, I did 30,000 steps/15 miles, and I was limping by the end of the shift. I needed to [take] several weeks off.
If it wasn't for my knee walker I would have faced even more time off. It significantly aided in my recovery and allowed me to do the job without damaging my foot further.

I thought at first I was only going to rent it for a few weeks, but it became such a part of the job, that I just kept renting till I owned it.
