With the public lives celebrities live, having more freedom of the arms and hands is important for autographs, shaking hands, and allows celebrities to have a better recovery rather having to settle on alternative options such as crutches or a wheelchair. Lets take a look at why knee scooters have caught the eyes of these celebrities who have used them to assist in their recovery.Rod Stewart
Known for some of the many great songs of our generation, Stewart had no intention of his injury getting in the way of his personal life. He was recently recovering with wife Penny and you can clearly see this rock star enjoying life to the fullest.
By the looks of it, Stewart felt really comfortable moving around on the knee scooter and although he tried to stay incognito, that famous hair and distinctive face gave it away. The amount of freedom provided allows the person to do something as simple as walk to Starbucks just like Stewart!
Ricky Gervais
One of the funniest men alive was also recently impacted by what life on a knee walker can be like. Gervais’s partner Jane Fallon recently had a lower body injury and needed a knee scooter to help her through. Needless to say, Gervais did what he does best and poked some fun at his partner.

Tamra Judge
A lower body injury also impacted Tamra Judge. The reality television personality who is also known for her time on Real Housewives of Orange County has been dubbed one of the most beautiful women in the world. Tamra Judge used a Nova Knee Scooter and Knee Rover All-Terrain Walker to get around during her recovery period.
She also graduated to an iWALK 2.0 which gave her the freedom to walk independently when she was not using the knee walker. Axel Rose

Mario Lopez
Best known for his acting roles ins “Saved by The Bell” including his runner up finish in the 2006 edition of “Dancing With The Stars” was suddenly struck by an injury last year. Lopez tore his Achilles tendon and unfortunately had to go through a recovery process to deal with his injury.
This particular type of injury is truly painful, and Lopez looked to be fighting through some pain in the hospital bed. Fast forward a few weeks and Lopez was able to begin roaming around on his new knee walker and just like Tamra Judge he too was able to use the iWALK 2.0 which also aided in his recovery.
David Grohl
David Grohl is one of the greatest rock musicians of our time. You may know him as the singer and founder of Foo Fighters, but unbeknownst to some, the drummer for another legendary band—Nirvana. The scooter model David Grohl was using was the Drive Medical 790 knee walker. This model has since been discontinued and replaced by the Drive DV8 Knee Walker, which we carry.
