Getting Married On A Knee Walker
- It’s one of the quintessential questions of our time. Does getting married make you happier? Finding someone nice, settling down and building a family has been the way American culture and the world has lived by. In today's society however there are so many different possibilities that didn’t exist and our ancestors likely couldn’t have fathomed how far we have come in such a short period of history.
In the past 20 years alone the LGBT community has become a large part of our every changing society. While we still have a long way to go happiness comes in many shapes and forms.
Its Happy Marriage That Makes Us Happy
Its one thing to get married but why are you marrying? Is it out of love? For financial benefit? Perhaps you realize things about a person you didn’t before? No matter what when we are with a person who we care deeply about we tend to be happier than being alone.
There is just something about human companionship that draws us into relationships. Marriage can be one of the best things to happen, but it can also have negative effects.
People who wind up in unhappy marriages might experience a spike of happiness once the marriage comes to an end. It all depends on how the two people who engage in the act of marriage work through their problems.

Money Can’t Buy Happiness
Although money can certainly help people live a more comfortable lifestyle money will not buy happiness. Possessions cost money and the more money you have the more we tend to spend. Eventually someone who might make 6 or even 7 figures could find themselves in financial trouble which is difficult on a relationship. One of the top reasons couples fight is due to financial issues that arise.
A study done by PhD Daniel Gilbert says “money’s ability to buy happiness levels out for people in the United States, with huge increases in happiness for people who vault into a middle-class income of $40,000 to $70,000.
Once that level is reached, increases in wealth generate smaller rises in happiness.” Happiness can be found at the poorest of levels and it can be found at the richest. If money can’t buy happiness, then how can happiness be achieved?
Remember Why You Love One Another
Why did you fall in love in the first place? Ask this question if you decide to get married it’s important to remember all the things you love about that person. Maybe she makes you laugh. Maybe he makes you feel at ease in your weakest moments.
There is a plethora of reasons people find happiness with one another but at times we can lose what we once saw. Communication is the key to a successful marriage and its one of the building blocks of being married
Communication Is Key
This is one of the most important aspects of getting married. Communicating can lead to a happier and healthier relationship. Without communication people begin to speculate. This can lead to arguments which can flare up into unhappiness.
By talking with one another it will make marriage feel happier to both parties involved. Keeping a constant open dialogue is incredibly important to a happy relationship. This will also lead partners to take the relationship to the next level.
The Early Stages
After the honeymoon phase of a marriage is over what comes next? Is it settling into this new adventure? Is it having a child together? Having a road map and plan can actually be a great piece of advice to adhere to. Sitting down and discussing what your hopes and dreams are together will give one another a sort of trust that is enduring. Having faith and trust in one another will lead to happiness.
Without trust it creates paranoia, uneasy feelings and anxiety. These are the building blocks of a failing relationship which is why its so important to sit down with each other and discuss each other’s outlook for the relationship.
Wedding Ceremonies Are Expensive
Alright here is a piece of advice. If you have the money to have an extravagant wedding, then that is wonderful.
For millions of people this is not an option, but some people overspend anyways and launch into debt. Take into the cost of the venue, food, invitations, DJ, Church, Dress, Tux, Honeymoon, you get the picture. Things can pile on very quickly.
It is a good idea for the bride and groom to both have a budget in mind in order to best stay on target. Beginning a marriage in debt is a tough feeling. It’s nothing both people involved cannot overcome but it is a very challenging situation.
Take some advice and try and keep things a cheap as possible. Remember it’s one day but you have the rest of your life to spend with each other.Attending A Wedding on a Knee Walker
